We searched for the ideal site as we planned the launch of our first app. Meanwhile, we've been managing our careers, traveling, and discovering new locations via our phones for the past two years. We deliberated over this option and ultimately selected Apple's online App Store. Because of its excellent quality, ability to undergo continuous development and testing, and compatibility with iPhone, iPad, and other devices, we decided to go with a web-based application. We discovered that iPhone applications aren't yet optimized for mobile phone browsers after taking that initial step. We knew we would be losing out on months' worth of user input when the applications close within the first day or two. We made the decision to integrate web development more firmly into our business and to add interactive features to our mobile application.
